About
This large and imposing villa sits on a hillside offering magnificient views over the Lucca valley. Built in the early 1800s, the Villa was carefully renovated in 2002, preservering its unique architectural features while updating the entire structure to be able to offer modern comforts to its guests.
Composed of three floors, the Villa comfortably accommodates 14 guests in 4 large double bedrooms and 2 triple bedrooms with spacious common areas. The outside spaces include gardens, a fully restored chapel, and a 5×10 meter swimming pool and covered dining area immediately to the side of the kitchen.
The main villa (approx. 1000 sqm large) consists of 3 floors.
GROUND FLOOR
The ground floor contains a large and welcoming entry hall, living room, den with card tables and bar, powder room, dining room with fireplace and a spacious and fully equipped kitchen which opens directly onto the covered pergola for outside dining along the pool area.
FIRST FLOOR
One flight up a very beautiful staircase, a large central salon gives way to four bedrooms. There is a double bedroom and ensuite full bath (with hydro massage tub), a double bedroom with twin beds and ensuite bathroom (shower), and two other large bedrooms (one twin-bedded and one with a double bed) that share a full bath (shower and tub).
SECOND FLOOR
The top floor of the Villa has four more bedrooms, all opening onto a large central salon. There are two double rooms, each with an ensuite bath (shower) and three twin-bedded rooms that share a full bath (tub and shower).
OUTSIDE
The outside areas of the Villa are well cared for private and offer breathtaking views of the Lucca Valley and countryside. The pool is a few steps away from a covered dining area that can seat 16 comfortably and is located just off the kitchen entryway. By the pool there is a table tennis and many shadowed places where it is possible to enjoy the peace and the special atmosphere and to relax.
Inside of the park there is private path going all around the villa, in the middle of the centuries old trees and the Mediterranean vegetation.
A little gem of a private chapel has been perfectly restored and sits to one side of the front entrance.
There is private parking on the Villa’s own grounds.
