Lucca is also very famous in the world for its ‘yellow gold’…the extra virgin olive oil. Since many centuries the olive trees make part of the Tuscany scenery and every November the harvest of the olives represent a pretty holy tradition to take part at. Just after the harvest the olives will be pressed in a traditional oil mill and the ‘yellow gold’ will be immediately tasted with bruschettas.
