About
“Piccolo Paradiso”, meaning small paradise, is indeed a charming and comfortable tiny country house located at the edge of a pretty village, at just 10-15 minuted drive from the walled town of Lucca. A private and quiet place for a small group of two (plus one or two children) to have a retreat from the stress of everyday life, still being at walking distance from shops and restaurants.
From a private allee there is the access to the fenced property.
The house consists of two floors:
GROUND FLOOR
Through the covered patio there is access to the entrance/hall, with a large and comfortable sofa bed, and to the living area with the well equipped kitchen, a table with chairs seating up to 6 people, two sofas, the ancient fireplace and the sat-tv. This area opens into a side of the garden, with a built-in BBQ.
FIRST FLOOR
From the entrance hall, through easy stairs, you enter in the sleeping area: a small studio with sofa, a lighty and large double bedroom with terrace, a full bathroom.
OUTSIDE
The very well kept flat garden surrounds the house with plants and olive trees, allowing to read and relax, even on the hottest summer days, in pleasant, shady spaces. A beautiful swimming pool (10X5mt) is located in a quiet place with scenery of the medieval hamlet of Castelvecchio di Compito at the top of a hill and the valley all around. The covered Patio with table and chairs seating up to 6 people is a perfect place for ‘al fresco’ meals, while enjoying the view of the garden and the typical Tuscan scenery.
It is an ideal and safe property for a couple, with one or two children.
